Yes guys, I am still awake although at this time I should be sleeping. Well just came back from an Indonesian couple's place. We have pizza and drinks for dinner. :P Yes, very unhealthy, but hei, once in a while we need to let our hair down, so once in a while we have to let our stomach have something that we like, right? We played some card games and it was fun with one or two 'jokers' inside, including me. Haha! So the sleep bug has not bit me yet, so I decide to write something here.
Well, there is a saying that for a parent to determine whether a future son-in-law is good or not is to have a game of mahjong with him. One that 'plays' with money. Because only by playing with money and because of the nature of mahjong, you can see the true character of the future son-in-law. So guys out there better watch out when your girlfriend's parent ask you to play mahjong. That could be the ultimate test that would determine whether you can win the hand of your girlfriend later on.
Anyway, mahjong is a game that test the memory, thinking, risk taking level and attitude towards money, of a person. And when one loses money, one's emotional intelligence can be seen immediately without too much deduction at all.
But one should note that emotional intelligence is not something you can achieve high level immediately. You need to develop and train your mental strength, just like you train your physical muscle. So guys, if you really love the girlfriend that you have, start training your mental strength, because you never know when you will need to play mahjong. Haha! So mahjong anyone? I have not played for a long time, but no money hor. I very stingy with money. Haha! :P
Oh, another thing, the wife prepared chee cheong fun for us but put different sauce inside. Still nice lah, but the combination is strange. And not that I do not like the taste, as a matter of record, it is more like not tasty until I need to have more. Haha. But coming back, if my wife did start to cook new dish or bake new pastry, I definitely will support her by trying out the dish, but I will give constructive points. So that she can improve. That should be the case between couple, showing support for things that are good and I consider picking a new skill as something that should be supported. But that is still a long way. The future is too unpredictable. Haha.
Oh another thing, I just found out that each of us can be related to a unfamiliar person by a chain of 6 people. For example, I can be related to the Li Ka Shing by having 6 people in the middle. But the relationship chain from these six people to Li Ka Shing could be very broad, like being colleague of, cousin of and so on. So maybe it is possible, but how they arrive the figure six, is something I am curious to know. Anyone can tell me? Need to find out the six people so that I can befriend my favourite singer. :P
Ok the sleep bug is here. Time to sleep. Tomorrow is going to be another day where I aim to improve by at least 1% by learning new things! Good nite everyone and especially you. You know who I am refering to. :D
