What is your ideal funeral?

Haha! Strange thing to talk about though but this was, if I remember correctly mentioned in Stephen Covey's Seven Habits. Because what we are doing now will really affect how your funeral is conducted. Imagine if a man did a lot of bad things, his funeral would be attended at the most his best friends, if there is any, and some colleagues or acquaintance who are 'forced' to attend.

If a man who has helped many people, I am sure his funeral would be attended by a lot of people who genuinely come to mourn for his death, it would be a noisy and crowded affair, people are willing to make speeches about the good he has done, people cry genuinely to see a great man has left this cruel world.

So what is your ideal funeral? Well for mine, of cos I wanted to have the latter that I talked about. Ideal funeral is that the head of many charity organizations will have speeches to talk about how I have helped the many organization, a few beneficiaries talk about how I have improve their lives. My first child making a speech about how great a mentor and father I am. My wife making a speech about how great a husband and a family caretaker I am. My eldest grandchild say how great a teacher I am. My eldest great-grandchildren said how great a playmate (no no, I do not want to be naked :P)I am. Aiyah, ideal funeral, imagination knows no boundaries mah. Haha! But come to think of it, I wonder will anyone doze off ah, so many people making speech. Hahaha!

Well, must fight on and achieve my ideal funeral. Haha! Great Wealth and Great Health, here I come. Anyone who wants to attend my funeral better start practising not to fall asleep during the many long speeches. :P And I take this opportunity to apologize to my future wife, if I did leave this world earlier than you, I am sorry for not taking care of you for the rest of your life. And another apology for making you appear in my idea funeral.

So what is your ideal funeral? Touch wood first before you start thinking :P

Cheers!

My ideal funeral is to have no funeral. Die liao, chop chop put in coffin and burn and collect ash. Case closed. Dispense with the ceremony la...too time consuming and troublesome.
