You do not have passion at all.
This person who complained that I do not have passion in my work does the following:
1) Leave the office on the dot. Wait. I think leave is not a good word to describe, zipped? flash?zoom? Aiyah whatever, you know what I mean.
2) Attend conference not mainly because he wants to know more of the area he is studying but mainly because of food and chance to travel.
3) Has a chance to interact with new supervisor to find out more abt the area he is supposed to be passionate abt, but don't want to grab the chance because he has a class to attend to.
4) When offered a new contract, complain that the salary increase is so small.
So can anyone tell me whether this person is passionate abt his work? Haha, such a person can ... :P
In my opinion, a truly passionate person is someone who is alway THIRSTY for more knowledge on the area he is interested in, does work in his area of interest until forget to eat his meals or even forget to sleep. Discovering new knowledge and wisdom in his area of interest brings him great satisfaction and happiness that no amt of money can buy. Money should be in the top few priorities of pursuing passion but definitely not the first. Such behavior, then I would consider a passionate person.
So what is passion again? :)
Cheers!
